A Long Overdue Introduction...
Well itâs been two years to the day since I joined oFear, and as itâs the anniversary of that coupled together with the fact that Iâve been gone for a good few months, and also itâs my 30th birthday today, I think now might be an appropriate time for an introduction!!
Iâve suffered with social anxiety disorder for about 15 years(!) now. That, along with occasion bouts of depression are the main issues in my life. What I thoroughly dislike about social anxiety disorder is the all encompassing nature of it!!! Unlike with a fair amount of other phobias, there is no escape from encountering people in life (and nor would I want to). I chose my user name two years ago because I absolutely love travelling (going on trains and planes, although Iâm still a very nervous flyer!). As well as this, Iâm interested in the paranormal and astronomy. Lastly I would say that my sense of humour is most definitely of the dry variety! Anyway, I'm looking forward to posting back on this site. happy7 Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind. Cheers guys - it's good to be back. toothy9
Although my b-day has long passed, there was something about turning 30 which I didn't like - because I was entering a new decade, somehow it felt as if I was getting a lot older rather than just the year. smad Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
