Birmingham, United Kingdom, December 17, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Birmingham-based phobia consultant Andy Duncan has launched a new project to help people across the West Midlands overcome their fear of heights.

Andy a.k.a. The Fear Master is an ex-Royal Marine Training Instructor who recently launched his phobia business to help people of all ages overcome the fears and phobias which stop them from realising their ambitions.

This latest project will see Andy coaching men and women from across the region on how to overcome their uncontrollable fear of heights.

Andy said: “So many people are scared of heights and suffer in silence when it can be so easily overcome. I have worked with people all over the world to overcome their crippling phobias and I’ve learnt that every fear is curable.

“As babies we are born with just two hard-wired fears; the fear of falling and the fear of loud noises. Every other fear or phobia is picked up as we get older or learnt from our parents. So the simple truth is that any fear we have learnt along the way can easily be unlearnt if you know how.”

Andy uses a combination of Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP), hypnosis and 1-2-1 counselling to identify the route cause of the fear and eliminate it for ever.

Andy continued: “A fear of heights is one of the most common fears in the UK and one that can be easily overcome. Although this fear doesn’t affect everyone in the same way it can mean that simple tasks like flying abroad for a holiday or working in a tall building are not possible for many people.”

Andy uses his no-nonsense approach to life developed while helping Royal Marines to deal with their very real phobias to help people overcome the fears standing in their way every day.
