Is anyone afraid of car washes? I always used to think the brushes would come through the windscreen and either injure me or just get me and the car completely soaked. It also felt pretty claustrophobic.

I hate them and I can't get out the car when I have to go in them.
I can't show my kids I'm scared so I really panic when I go in them.

I am not sure. I have never been through a car wash before.

Im sorry you feel so bad about these things Lolly. I just mention certain things here just in case people are afraid of something and want to talk about it but afraid to start a topic. Sorry about that.

Things should be discussed. I honestly do hate them and cannot think about them.
They make me feel like I'm in a coffin and I can't get out.

I know exactly what you mean Lolly and thats why I raised the question to see how many others fear them. I used to go to the hand wash places instead of those automatic ones.

Are there any other people on the forum that can't stand going into an automatic car wash?
