Well, I've been told by my therapist that keeping a journal/diary would be good.
I was never told or asked to keep one though. The suggestion just came up during a discusion and it wasn't really elaborated on. So, I answerd no to the poll question.

I'm not seeing a therapist, but I do keep a diary and yes it is a good idea. However if a therapist did ask me to keep one I would only copy out the things I was willing to share with them not my whole life. _cheesygrin::

Why do dogs bark?

They are not barking, they are talking in dog. Obviously you don't understand the language.

Nope never even talked about it with any of my therapists...
well my first therapist did ask me to keep a journal of everything i ate during a day for my food problems...but dunno if that really counts so i chose no

I'd be a dog, a monkey or a bear, or anything but that vain animal, who is so proud of being rational.

Yeah, I think I'd do the same. I'd only write down things that were related to my OCD and other problems, and skip the thigs that don't really relate to that.

Well, a food diary is a diary that the therapist wanted you to make to understand your problem better; so I guess it'd count.
