Fear of Over flowing toilets?
I've had this phobia for as long as i can remeber, i'm 18 years old now.
The only thing i can think of that could of triggered this fear is my brother drowning me in a pool on holiday?

Basically; i cannot look at over flowing/blocked/high level water toilets. If i come into contact with one i will ruin out, shake, feel sick, get really hot and be on the brink of tears.
I don't look when flushing the toiley, i have to put the lid down and i'll get ready wash my hands etc before flushing the toilet.

I cannot look at a bath of water, if i have a bath it has to be filld with bubbles, when they start to fade i start to get nervous.

I can't look at my pond, black buckets of water, sinks full of water.

Yet i can go into the sea and pool, however i should mention if the pool water is still, i get nervous and cant look at it. So i guess thats why i can go in the sea as well.

Hello Jordxox.

Welcome to the forum. So....it appears that your phobia may well be "bodies of calm water", given you menioned a few, such as toilets, baths, sinks etc and you can enter the ocean.

Have you tried any professional assistance at all? Anything such as self hypnosis ?

I see you think it may have started with the near drowning and i guess that could be the trigger, it probably wasnt the nicest of experiencesSad
