Geocaching
Anybody here into geocaching?
I just found out about it earlier today and have to say that I'm finding it very interesting  It's basically a real life "game". A treasure hunt. People hide small boxes, and post the coordinates online. And then other people find the boxes. I'm not 100% sure about the rules yet but apparently the boxes contain a small logbook you write in and sometimes a small treasure. you're allowed to take the treasure if you exchange it with something equally/more valuable. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geocaching ^For more info scool I'm totally going to go on a few treasure hunts someday next week scool I'd be a dog, a monkey or a bear, or anything but that vain animal, who is so proud of being rational.

Re: Geocaching
I have been Geocaching before. It's quiet a lot of fun. Muggles came from that before Harry Potter. What you need to do is to make sure that no one can see you while you reclaim the box and do the stuff so muggles don't steal the treasure.

Re: Geocaching
Oh the word mugglers started with this? I thought it came from harry potter first ssurprised
Anyway...I realized that it'd be quite difficult to do this without owning somekind of GPS...so I didn't even try  I don't want to go for the ones in cities as...it'd be awkward walking around with a map in a crowded place looking for a little box. I was planning to go for the ones hidden in forests and stuff outside of the city, but yeah...google earth won't help much there  I'd be a dog, a monkey or a bear, or anything but that vain animal, who is so proud of being rational.

Re: Geocaching
Yeah. They have really direct locations. I seem to remember waiting half an hour for a group of chavs to go away because they were literally standing on the spot where the treasure was.

RE: Geocaching
*bumps the thread*
Anyone else into Geocaching? I have now found 75 caches. How cool is that? ![]() ...then again, some people have found like 7000> caches. That's just insane.
