H.P. Lovecraft
He wrote some odd stories sconfused
Good though shappy

Of the stories I've read so far (Night-Gaunts, Dagon, The Statement of Randolph Carter, The Doom That Came to Sarnath, The Cats of Ulthar, The Nameless City, and most of Herbert West - Reanimator), my favourite is Herbert West - Reanimator because it presents a completely different view on zombies than is seen in movies, TV, books, et al. After that, my favourite is The Cats of Ulthar.

I didn't really know much about this author, well I mean I'd heard his name and all but yeah...but I accidentally stumbled upon his Wikipedia page yesterday and I have to say that it got me interested sconfused
The whole "cosmic horror" thing sounds quite interesting Blob5
So I'm probably going to give a few of his books a shot once I'm done with the books I already have shappy

I'd be a dog, a monkey or a bear, or anything but that vain animal, who is so proud of being rational.

I bought the "Necronomicon: commemorative edition" a couple of days ago.
That's...one big book isn't it?
I want to finish the book I'm reading before I really start, but I read one of the stories so far and it does seem interesting Blob5

Re: H.P. Lovecraft
So far my favourites are "The Nameless City" and "The Music of Erich Zann"
I was a bit disappointed with Reanimator, I thought it would be one of my favourites but I just thought it was ok. The fact that he wrote it for a magazine, and that they required him to re-tell the previous chapters in the beginning of every new chapter annoyed me a bit.
I'm really liking a lot of the stories though Blob5
