Are you back at uni yet Barrucadu, or is it still a bit early?

Know of any good teas for stress/ anxiety - I'm a bit fed up of drinking the usual ones that you tend to get in supermarkets (chamomile, red bush).

Woah, I just found this post by googling for my name. Hi guys, long time no see.

I was not back at university when it was my birthday, but I have been for a significant time now. Only one term of this year left, and most of the teaching is done; I only have a few lectures and then exams to go. However, I have another year left after this one.

What are you planning to do once you finish your degree? Study at a higher level? I've always wanted to do a masters degree, but have yet to get round to it.

Well, I'm killing two birds with one stone here, my current degree is a master's degree! That's why it's four years long. After this, I want to do a PhD, and then hopefully stay in academia forever. The real world is a scary place, and I want to avoid it for as long as possible

It does... a couple of months ago I saw some potential freshers on an open day, and it sort of hit me that most of the people who graduated from my school at the same time as me will be finishing their degrees this year. It's weird.

The real world is a scary place - I don't blame you for wanting to stay in academia forever! It's certainly something which I wish I could do. Oh to be a student again...
