Hemingway
Any Hemingway fans?Big Grin
I read A Farewell to Arms not long ago, it's the only Hemingway book I've read so far but I quite liked it. So, which book should I move on to? I suppose 'The Old Man and the Sea', since it seems to be his most famous work. Do you have a favourite? Any recommendations?Big Grin

I'd be a dog, a monkey or a bear, or anything but that vain animal, who is so proud of being rational.

I've heard of The Old Man and the Sea, but not read it. I might get it next time I'm in a book shop.

Yeah I don't know how many times I've had the book in my hands but decided to go with something else instead. I'll definitely buy it the next time I'm at the bookstore.Blob5
I think The Old Man and the Sea just a novella though, so maybe you'd prefer to start with A Farewell to Arms or something a bit longer?

A novella is probably a great start, so I can see if I like his writing style and suchlike. Even if I don't, I'm more likely to finish the a novella than a full novel Tongue
