Hey L.A.
Hi I'm new on here and looking for some people in the Los Angeles area to talk with me about their phobia. If you could post your name and your fear/phobia so I could get a sense of some people in my area like me it would really help me out. Thank you!

Hey LA.
What exactly is it that you wish to know? Many people will simply not wish to jump in and start talking about personal issues without knowing why. Please explain a bit more. Cheers

Welcome to Ofear Seeking Phobia.
![]() Like Snooks said, it may help others a bit if you post some more information. Maybe if you stated which phobia/s you have, that'd be a start. RE: Hey L.A.
Well my phobia as silly as it sounds is balloons. I just wanted to see what phobias pother people had so I knew I wasn't alone in having a phobia of something so ridiculous. All my friends make fun of me and I know it's bad but I just can't help it.

RE: Hey L.A.
I'm afraid of people. That's also ridiculous. We're a ridiculous bunch on Ofear.
![]() The only ridiculous thing is to make fun of someone who has a fear. That just shows ignorance. It doesn't matter what you fear; balloons, snakes, spiders, death ...the fear is always the same. So you're not being ridiculous. And you're not alone when it comes to fearing apparently random objects either. We have members who are afraid of buttons, windmills, holes ...just about anything you can think of. Although a lot of people don't understand these things, there's no reason to feel embarrassed about it. Have you tried seeking professional help? I'd be a dog, a monkey or a bear, or anything but that vain animal, who is so proud of being rational.
