So today I found out that you can ONLY use ten images in a post.

This makes me sad. Sad

I normally don't use a lot (cuz I don't want to go scrolling thru them, and often just do the "quick replys" but why is this?

I mean it kinda makes sense cuz a post of just smilies is kinda crazy, but I don't see people really doing that.

It made me sad. My post on my clumsy-ness was much more interesting with all the animation I had used. (like when I mentioned jumping and used a jumper smilie Blob5 )

Basically I was just wondering if there was a reason for this. I like the smilies. I would post a poll but honestly that still confuses me. lol. I don't know how to put in the options for the poll. lol. I'm challenged sometimes.

RE: Images limit
Well you learn something new everyday.....i didnt know that images included smilies.

I set the limit at 10 basically cause thats the recommended limit. Its more aimed at people that are uploading an image, a photo etc and this means that 10 is the maximum you can upload.

This is because data transfer can be very expensive and running a forum can use a lot of band width, meaning a lot of cost. Its more an issue in the Gaming Niche where the younger people have images as signatures, fancy graphics and stuff like that. Its of no real issue here.

RE: Images limit
I'm curious as to whether or not smilies can be stripped from the images limit? I seem to recall a setting in vBulletin to not count smilies toward the image limit but I'm not sure whether or not this setting exists in mybb?
