u see unlike my fear of spiders on which i run as soon as i see one of the blighters ,i dnt run if i see a dentist,its not the dentist i fear rather the equipment he uses,
3 years ago i took the courage 2 register at my local dentist,he said i needed fillings,did i go back ,did i hell,he also told me off last time i came,said my teeth were really eroded and i must be drinking loads of fizzy drinks,teeth erosion can also be caused by eatin fruit as well
anyways the thought of a drill been shoved in my gob fills me with dread

Not uncommon, but that doesn't make it any less of a fear.
Whether it's a phobia is debatable if you are just averse to the idea of having a mechanical device whizz about inside your mouth. I'd consider that to be pretty normal. Like fear of surgery - there are realistic associations such as pain and discomfort that, quite frankly, only a masochist would enjoy.
Again, it would depend on haw far this rational fear invaded your life - if it ended up making you scared of something else and limiting your function because it reminded you of the dentist's drill then it would be becoming unhealthy.

I think if you have had an ok time for myself i go back, like oh that wasn't to bad although im stil freaking out inside but if you have a bad time like i did my last one i think ill need sedated next time.I had even explained prior to him about my condition i dont think he cared i got an Ahole and that was that..now it's set me back 5yrs :evil:
