So ever since I was little and walked in on the movie Freddie Vs. Jason where Jason gets his head cut off, I've been afraid of zombies. My phobia isn't that bad compared to others, yet it still affects my everyday life. I like to play video games, but whenever anyone asks me to play a zombie game I start to treble and feel like I'm going to cry. Even writing this post makes me tremble some. I feel so foolish knowing hat zombies aren't real, yet being so deathly afraid of them. Everyone call me a scaredy-cat because I won't go to haunted houses or play Call of Duty Zombies. I think I'm afraid of them because I don't want to die or kill anyone else, espicially my family. I can watch people play zombie games or watch sombie videos or movies, but I just can't make myself go near them, even though I long to play Call of Duty Zombies and go through the story. My family says it's I'm scared of how they look, but I don't think so. I need help getting rid of this phobia so I can play the games I long to and to go have fun with my friends in a haunted house.

Well the first step of admitting and talking about your issue has been made so i guess in your case, we need to seek out some sort of professional therapy.

I really dont think that you can defeat it alone so lets look into some form of counselling.

Your lucky that you can watch people play those sorts of games... perhaps you can use it to your advantage and keep watching? Kind of like getting used to being around them because I've read it some where that being around something that scares you can help.
