RE: Last movie you watched
I watched Monsters recently. Despite the generic title making me somewhat wary, it was quite a good film and I enjoyed watching it. I recommend it.

Skyfall Blob3 Blob10

A miracle! - I went to see a movie on it's actual day of release (rather than wait at least a couple of weeks).

An excellent, feel-good XMAS movie - It's a Wonderful Life. Smile

Only watched the movie for the first time last year.

Watching it however has definitely become part of my XMAS routine. Cool

Last movie I watched - The Snowman and the Snowdog (the sequel to the 1982 animation film The Snowman).

Same here actually. This was the first time I watched the entire movie from start to finish. I really liked it though. Most Christmas movies these days, quite honestly, aren't that good. They're just goofy and mildly funny. They don't really provide much of a x-mas feeling though. This one does.Blob5

Last movie I watched... a reaaaaallly weird French movie I found on youtube. I don't remember the name, but it was so strange. Laughing6

The Hobbit (2D version) Blob10

Am I the only one who doesn't 'do' 3D movies? Although impressive, I find them too dark (certainly in the cinema anyway).

Of the movie, it was really enjoyable. I was expecting it to be too long drawn out, but this wasn't the case.

I can certainly imagine non-Tolkien fans finding it too long however.

I can't say I find 3D movies too dark. I quite like the 3D experience to be honest.Blob5
Do 3d movies make you nauseous or something Globe? A lot of people complain about that. I hadn't heard anyone complain about them being too dark though. Maybe it's just your cinema?

On another note, I'm reading The Hobbit at the moment. I wanted to read the book before watching the movie.Blob5

Last movie I watched: Indiana Jones ...3, whatever it's called. Watched 1 and 2 yesterday.Cool
Naa nana naaaaaaaa... naaa nanaaaaa!! (...Indiana Jones theme. In case you can't tell).

It could well be my cinema - the place is ancient. It was around even before cinemas were invented! Laughing6 (which I know doesn't make the slightest bit of sense 005_sbiggrin)

Did you get round to watching The Hobbit Harold? Now that I have a PS3, I think The Hobbit is actually going to become the first ever blu-ray movie that I buy.

Last two movies that I saw (and which couldn't be anymore contrasting) - The Thing (1982), and Born Free.
