Link between diet and anxiety
Hiho.

I'm not doctor myself, but I'm in healthy eating since ages, studying everything that MedLine has to offer. Not so long ago someone asked me to help with strong anxiety attacks. Took me 2 months to cure his disease competely - it was magnesium deficiency. His doctor was soooo sure that it was "only anxiety" and prescribed him typical anxiety medicines, they of course stopped attacks but my friend was not interessed in life balancing "from one pill to another".

Later I went to internet board where people talked about their anxiety (in Polish, unfortunatelly), same story - 80% cases were either strong deficiences caused by very bad diet, or disease that were really easy to recognize (for example hypothyroidism), yet doctors failed to do so and just prescribed anxiety medicine.

I put my experiences on website, I suggest to start reading about magnesium as it's most common cause of anxiety (and usually ppl use wrong treatment even after recognising it properly)

Hope it helps

So, what you are saying is basically I could cure my anxiety if I change my diet?

Hi Hiho and welcome to oFear Wave

.. and with that - I have promptly removed your link. Nothing personal but there are guidelines on posting links in the forum.

Tho I know there are many reasons for anxiety symptoms - and nutrition is included - and I agree that some diagnoses are given all too easily - it is wrong to promise cures to people based on some anecdotes.

Re: Link between diet and anxiety
Any good diet or exercise tips for building arm strength? I am a 26 year old male and have embarrassingly thin arms! My leg and stomach muscles are fine but despite doing jobs in the past that require a lot of heavy lifting I never seem to put any muscles or even fat on in my arms. Any exercise or diet tips would be appreciated.
