I tried logging in once from work today and received the following message:

ofear Wrote:You exceeded the maximum allowed number of login attempts. In addition to your username and password you now also have to enter the confirm code from the image you see below.

I'm guessing that users only have one attempt to login correctly and the second attempt requires you correctly answer a Captcha Image?

Anyway I just thought it a bit odd as I screw up logging in on my first attempt virtually everywhere (mixed caps + alphanumeric) and this is the first time I've ever received this type of error message.

Incidentally, not sure if this will make any difference but my work computer specs are as follows:

- Windows XP
- Mozilla Firefox v 3.6.8

Thanks alter-ego I believe it to be a software issue as it happened to me on two occasions, whilst i was actually logged in. At the moment im just finalising a merge to MyBB and this should solve this issue, plus a few others.
