Looking for British (or UK based) food phobics
Hello,

I'm a journalist and I'm writing a feature about food and toilet phobias and how these affect women's everyday lives. The feature is partly based on personal experience as I had a phobia of food poisoning for several years and lost a lot of weight, didn't want to leave the house etc and so know how isolating and frustrating the whole thing can be.

Anyway, I am looking for other women who have experienced/are experiencing food or toilet related phobias to be included as case studies. I am freelance and hoping to get the feature in a UK women's health or general lifestyle feature, which is why the call-out is for females. I understand that it's a very personal thing, so it's possible to include anonymous case studies if you'd rather not say your name or have your picture taken etc.

I'm hoping the feature will help other women who are feeling isolated and depressed about their phobia to realise they are not alone and it will also suggest ways to overcome phobias with expert advice etc.

If anyone is interested in being featured please can you email me at amycwatkins@gmail.com and I can answer any questions etc.

Thanks!
Amy
