Hi Trum Wave

Have you thought of asking the 'pharmacist' you bought the meds from?

Other questions you might like to ask are:

Why didn't your meds come with an information leaflet...

What kind of phamacy sells prescription medication without a prescription...

What kind of phamacy sells meds with no questions asked....

Why do dogs bark?

They are not barking, they are talking in dog. Obviously you don't understand the language.

I'm pretty much against weight-loss drugs (due to friends having very scary experiences) but if you're determined to take them, why not bring the pills and anything else you got from this 'pharmacy' to a real pharmacy and ask them? They're not going to confiscate them or anything (I don't think so, anyway, maybe you could just call) but I would think having a licensed pharmacist look the pills to make sure they're really xenical would be a good safety measure. Also, they could give you advice and literature about the drug to make sure you take it the right way, and safely.

Assuming that your GP has you stabilised on the correct dose of levothyroxine you condition should no longer be having any effect on your weight, nor your problems loosing it.
You need to remember that 2 in 3 dieters with no other medical problems end up gaining weight!
There are no tricks or even tips, you just have to eat a bit less and do a lot more like the rest of us.

If you're wanting to lose a little weight (or a lot!), forget the Fad diet, don't even think about the Crash diet.

Start with some of our straight forward tips and we promise with a little commitment and motivation you'll get there!

1.Start your day with a healthy breakfast to kick start your metabolism.
2.Eat regular meals- at least three per day.
3.Use low fat substitutes for dairy products wherever possible, for example, skimmed milk, low fat cheese, cottage cheese and yoghurt.
4.Make sure your diet is made up mainly from fruit, vegetables and fibre rich foods like bread and pasta.
5.Replace desserts with fruit to satisfy the craving for something sweet.
6.Don't eat large, heavy meals last thing at night or your body won't have chance to burn off those calories.
7.Drink plenty of water and low calorie drinks to help you feel full.
8.Make yourself more active, climb stairs and walk all short journeys.
9.Allow yourself treats occasionally or you may end up binging.
10.Don't be too hard on yourself, aim to lose weight slowly and it will stay off for good.
