Trust me, the fireworks we set off don't make it up into the sky. Half the time they're set off wrong somehow and start shooting out to the side.

The people I know make me firmly believe that fireworks should not be sold to the public. confused1

Harold-L Wrote:Maybe you should have moved?
Damn you short people!

I considered it but the guy was drunk. I was getting a kick out of him. He was wobbling from side to side saying things like "wooah" and what not. Then he turned around and said something along the lines of "do you know how normal you are?".

Needless to say I know the guy.

nour Wrote:How rude of him! It should be a fact known by everyone that "tall people should stand behind the shorter ones, so they can all see (:" lol

And people need to learn about a little something called personal space. People stand way too close to other people.

nour Wrote:Hey Ana  I'm good, how about you?

That's good. shappy And I'm pretty good.

nour Wrote:Yes I'm on summer vacation, and it's all goooood Blob5 I'm still waiting for my official exams' results, it's still not out yet and it's getting on my last nerve! I want to know if I'm going to university or staying in high school! angry1
Other than that, I don't have any big plans for the summer, I'm not planning to travel anywhere or whatever, just living by the day, and it's really nice when you don't plan things! What about you? What are you planing to do this summer?

So you have any idea when you'll get your results back? Blob5 I can imagine how that'd be frustrating. Especially if you're waiting to find out if you graduated high school or not. And sometimes no plans are better then having plans. Like you said, you can live day by day.

As for me, I have an English course to try and finish while I'm on summer break from classes. I also hope to go and visit my Grandparents for a couple of weeks. Then I have to take a driving test. That's not my idea though. Other then that, I don't have any other plans set.

nour Wrote:Don't you damn short people :frown:: You tall people are rudeee! We should do the booth thing so we can all live in peace!

I don't think personal space exists in a crowd? If everyone had to stay at least a meter away from everyone else...they'd need to have some pretty big arenas for music concerts

Yes, the results will be out by next week, hopefully!
Good luck with the English course, and the driving test
I might go to Turkey this September before college starts!

And you just spoil and ruin our little chance we have left to see  life is so unfair!

Anyhow, I disappeared for a couple of days, because I was at my sister's chalet, and I barely use the laptop there! It was really fun, though I don't have friends as much as I used to in 2006, but that's alright it's still fun!
I'm going back tomorrow, because my parents are attending a wedding that I'm not invited to! So I'd rather go to my sister's place than stay home alone all night watching movies and eating junk food! (I'm on a healthy diet now by the way!)
I just came back from the movies, I watched Prince Of Persia with a couple of good friends, rode a roller coaster then came back home, it was so much fun!

Re: Mademoiselle; nour.
I'm back! Well I spent some weekends at my sister's place (somewhere very very far from home!) I was hanging out a lot lately with mt friends, and that's all because I ACTUALLY PASSED MY OFFICIAL EXAMS!!! I couldn't believe it at first, but now that I'm going to the university and registering to courses and stuff it feels so good! I can't wait!
Ana Wrote:Thanks and I hope you get the marks you want. shappy And Turkey? In September? When does the college term start there?

I didn't actually got the marks i was hoping for, but who cares? right? I passed!
I start on the 27th of September! Can't wait!
I'm still not sure about that trip to Turkey though, I really feel like going, it's a very nice country!

Ana Wrote:What do you mean by chalet? Blob5 Like a cabin? And was Prince of Persia any good?

Chalet, it's a like a tiny home with a bedroom and a kitchenette, a bar, a bathroom and a TV room! Anyhow, Prince of Persia is a very nice movie, you should definitely watch it!
I've been sick this past week, fever, blurry vision, dry mouth, headaches, bronchitis, everything! And I stayed home for about 3 days and watched lots and lots of movies! But now I'm good! sbiggrin

I'm hyper!

Hi nour. shappy

You pass your exams? Congradulations!! So, do some of your friends plan on attending the same University as you? Are you nervous?

Anyways, you have to make the best of the summer before you head off to University, eh? stongue

Don't worry about the marks so much. stongue It's a school related curse to get lower marks than you hope for. If you got into the school that's all that matters, right?

And do you think you'd be able to manage going to Turkey before you start school?

A bar? Those are a necessity!

It wasn't intentional, no. I spell words as I pronounce them. It's an annoyingly bad habit.

I'm disappointed that firefox didn't pick up on that typo. sconfused

Heyhey! I missed this place lol
Well I started university! And it's amazing! They're actually brain washing me, i've become such a nerd! My grades are kind of disappointing, but i always look at the bright side, it was my first mid terms in my college life, i was extra nervous and i over studied, full stop.
the traffic in Beirut sucks, I can't wait to get a car though, my dad gets really annoyed while picking me up from the university and sometimes it's unbearable! he even made me cry a couple of time, only because i was PMSing! (i guess!) but still i love him shappy
I made some friends in university, they're really nice! what else? umm i told my new friends about my phobia and they kind of laughed about it! i'm used to that i laugh along with them, but they understood in the end that i wasn't joking about it! one turned out to be homophobic i don't know how serious it is!
I met a friend this summer, we became so close we went out everyday and laughed so much together, but sadly he traveled to the UK. Ugh i cried myself to sleep that night. Another tragedy, a friend of mine passed away this summer, it was VERY hard for all of us (his friends), car accident. We have a lot of that in Beirut, sadly again.
But all in all, everything's good! I miss you guys! how are you all doing?? Blob5

So, you're really liking University? shappy That's really good. And your grades don't have to be perfect. So, you're going to get a car so that you can commute to school? You have your license? How long have you had that for?

And I'm really sorry to hear about your friend. confused1 I can imagine that that was tough.

RE: Mademoiselle; nour.
Reading my last post here makes me smile! Everything is changing so quickly I can't keep track of anything...
This summer was intense, I took two summer courses (Philosophy & Biology) studied pretty hard (lol!), got a new car that I fell in love with, and yea partied enough to make me want to start university again! However, I start this monday the 26th and honestly, I can't wait I've missed so many people, it's crazy!
My phobia is getting worse with time... I tried taking an appointment with the university's shrink but I was glad to know that I had class the time she was free to see me and I never got the chance to write her back, because I was scared, and my friends made me talk to her in the first place because apparently they are suffering as much as I am (not literally!) and dealing with my unusual behavior when I see a butterfly.
Haha I remember a couple of days ago, I was coming back home in my car, and I parked and everything but when I wanted to close the windows and get out of the car a huge butterfly came flying next to the door so I shut myself in the car for 10min doing nothing but shaking. Then when I made sure it's gone I went out running like I never did before! Unlucky for me I forgot my cellphone in the car so I had to live that life-threatening drama again!
I'm just glad to be back! How are you guys doing? Happy

Hi Nour!005_shappy

Glad to hear that everything seems to be going so well for you (not counting the phobia that is).Blob5
I actually didn't know that you had a fear of butterflies. Do you know why you developed the fear? How long have you had it?

...did you manage to get your cellphone back from the car?Laughing6

And your signature sooo makes me think of Earl!
