Hello everyone!!!

I'm Words Waywith, but you can call me Brent, or Words, Brent of the Waywith variety, or whatever else you see fitting!

I came to this forum while seeking a way to help me overcome a hideous three bearded swamp monster with toenails on its forehead called depression! What I found here was a forum in its infancy that was the most excellent resource I have found to date! I am starting to defeat that monster{with random toenails akimbo} and am really happy to be able to try and help others get out of the same predicament!

I also have a severe phobia of anything medical, so I hang out in the Needle Forum quite often. Several months ago, I started using a treatment called "Systematic Desensitization" where I would force myself to watch medical related television shows and take my own blood pressure{If you read my posts, you will see that this is a huge deal!} It really started helping and for the first time in my life, I had a little bit of control over the issue!

I also have social anxiety issues. This forum is a goldmine for help, insight, and companionship relating to this issue!!!

A little bit about me:
I am an avid writer{hence the username}, comedian, and producer of comedic music.

I love to talk, so any of you feel free to contact me in any format you feel comfortable{Message board post, PM, carrier pigeon{or carrier ostrich if you don't want to pay Air Mail fees } Given that I love to write, you are doing me a favor by writing me, so don't hesitate!

Even if we don't share the same fears, or you just want general chit chat, I am here for that exact purpose!

I have a serious problem with anyone who thinks that I have an "Accent" Just because I reside in the UK.
I don't like sports all that much. (Especially football, extreme sports are better! E-sports are even better still!)
I'm a keen writer. (Not so much a film maker any more.)
I came here first about my fear of injections which has in fact gotten a bit better since joining this. I've come to understand the root cause a bit more.
I want to curl up and die whenever I'm at the dentist. The last time I needed one tooth extracted and it took god knows how many attempts, two types of sedative and a surface anaesthetic to do so.
I don't respond well to injections in general.
I can't dance/refuse to dance except for extreme occasions. (Prom... Never again...)
I have projects on all the time, writing, singing, helping at some function my parents somehow volunteered me in, cycling.
I like gardening.
I've had mixed reviews about my voice. Some people love it, others hate it.
I too am introverted but become much more outspoken if I am talking about something I love with people I love
I avoid meeting new people like the plague, Ofear was a good step forwards for me.
Pretty much all of my friends are girls because I don't feel like I have to talk and just feel a bit less ribbed and accepted... except for three guys... They are ditching me for different colleges... ssleepy
Other peoples views on me is deathly important. Acceptance is a big part of my life and certainly a big part of my fears as well.
I'm always tired but it doesn't stop me sleeping in till all hours of the morning. XD
I've been told that I can see people as friends instead of people who are stupidly younger or stupidly older than me.
My views on peace are a bit controversial. (Whatever the government has done. Undo it and we wouldn't be in such a mess today.)
Being on Ofear has corrupted me in every sense of the word. (Yes Harold! I mean you!)
I'm relatively tech savvy.
Insults sting... badly...
I wear glasses.
I can't put the contacts in let alone get them out again. XD
I don't like swearing but what happens happens.
I listen to quite honestly anything but prefer Indy to dark trance. Rap is ok if the feelings right. Same with house and RnB.
A couple of bands I like: Abney park, We are scientists, (I found them before they got famous) Foals, System of a down, Linkin park.
I don't like fighting and will actively try and stop a fight from happening even if it means getting in the way of punches (A couple of times in school. Oh and I was elbowed in the face and had a bloody nose.)
I see Hitler as an excellent politician. (Even though I disagree with what he did.)

I have really bad acne
I like war gaming. It's one of the few things that makes me want to be social. (Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer fantasy)

I've fallen in love with play by post role-playing. If you name the roleplay then I've probably done some variation on it. sdrool (Would that classify me as a geek?)
I've tried the diet coke and Mentos experiment and got hit in the face by a flying mento... They hurt quite a bit...
