I have a big fear of spiders. dead or alive it doesn't matter. my fear of spiders keep getting worse. when i'm outside I get so paranoid i constantly think their crawling on me This fear is hitting the point to where im afraid to go camping. Im also afraid to walk through trees in fear ill get them on me. when they get on me I panic to the point where I don't know what to do. my friends and family like to tease me about them, its rather painful..

I can handle looking at them to a point if their in movies or caged. tarantulas I can handle cause I had good experiences with them. but yeah.. do you have any ideas on what I can do to stop it before it starts to control my life?

For starters I would tell your friends and family how bad it is for you.

Being jokingly teased by them is probably the worst thing they could be doing to you right now, and can only make things worse.

i have many times but i guess its temptation... this is why I'm moving a step forward. Perhaps to work on a cure by myself lol

I dont know so much about helping it, but what I do is:

1) for every room in the house I have a bottle of house and garden raid.

2) once every three weeks I use an indoor spray thing.... and i goto town...perimeter of house/apartment floor, ceilings, doors, just about anything....

those two things help me feel more secure about being in the house, and allows me to relax more in my house....

as for outside, like camping and walks in the woods.....OFF! it up...i use the most potent things I can find....usually deep woods grade stuff like for hunters....


I feal kinda proud of myself.....i just killed a, i think it was a wolf spider.....

I tried to submit it to Fmylife...but i dont think theyll take it....

I had one foot in my room and one out, i saw something move....in panic i darted in my room jumped on the chair, and stood there crying my eyes out for a few. when i settled down i went into the connected bathroom to check under the sink..... the raid was gone, earlier this weekend i used that bottle for something outside the house. that bottle was now on exactly the otherside of the spider which was in the middle of the doorway to my room...

like 40 minutes later i got enough courage to jmp over the spider, grap the raid and empty it.....
I kinda ranted a lil, i hope some of it helped....
