Short answer...yes. Menopause/hormone imbalance can cause depression.

Have you spoken to your doctor about it?
Did you ever suffer from depression before you menopause started, or did it all come about with the menopause?
I'd be a dog, a monkey or a bear, or anything but that vain animal, who is so proud of being rational.
