All of you guys are really nice, and I really appreciate it. I am glad there is a group of people out there that actually care about other human beings. I hope you guys continue to welcome and support new members. It's really rare to find any form of support online, you guys do good work, keep it up!

That being said, I have to jump ship. Nice people scare me. Sorry

Oh well, there are plenty of forums online solely populated by jerks. I'm sure you'll find one of those more to your liking.

I've been having a really bad day, and have no intention to cause drama. I'm really sorry, and I mean no offense to anyone.

I am terrified of people that don't tell me constantly I am stupid and ugly and worthless. People are typically only nice when they want money and crap, then they shit down your throat again.

There's no need to say sorry, I understand (I'm being nice again! )

It just saddens me a bit when people seem to think that it's something negative to be nice. Someone who is nice either has to be stupid, or there have to be negative intentions behind the niceness(as you said). That seems to be how people generally view niceness these days. And yeah, it is a little depressing.
I've joined a lot of forums in the past, and I always end up leaving because I simply don't like the people. This is the only place I've found where people seem to care for the other members, so I consider this to be a great little place.

That being said, I'm really not all that nice. As you probably gathered from my previous post.
But yeah, I think you should stay. We don't have many active members at the moment, but the members we do have are really understanding. And as far as I know, they don't have any other intentions behind their niceness than to simply be nice. All of us suffer from some kind of issues, so we can all relate to the other members in one way or another. I think that's what makes the forum seem like such a nice place.

...and sorry if my last post was a bit mean. I didn't really want it to sound as mean as it did.

Sorry to continue being nice, but I'm sorry that you've had such a bad day. And don't apologize for offending anyone. Although I can't say for sure, I don't think that Harold-L was offended. I think he's more so concerned that you're leaving the forum for the wrong reasons. I understand what you mean about nice people seemingly always having bad intentions. Some people that treat others nicely really are nice for the wrong reasons. However, I don't think you'll find any of those people here. And, if you do, guaranteed they won't be here for long.

As Harold said, we're nice because we understand. We're all in similar situations and understand how important it is to have a safe place to come to. That's what this forum is about.

However, at the end of the day, I don't think any of us want a member to feel uncomfortable with the forum or feel as if this just isn't the place for them. So, if you feel that way, I'm sure everyone will be understanding. Even if we'd really rather that you stay and let us prove to you that we're all genuinely nice.

Thus, if you still choose to leave, it was nice meeting you Nikki. If not here, I hope you find somewhere/someone that provides you with the support that you were looking for when you happened upon this forum.
