Hi i am a filmer, musician, & artist but social phobia is determined to halt my show business career aspirations i have, but i believe i can overcome whilst opening the door for others to follow. I have done extras work but struggle with judgemental ‘normal’ people!

Oh hi thanx. my point is that there isn't any representation of people with social phobia in the media or public domain, i am trying to break the barrier but nobody wants to know! to me anxiety is not the natural state but a reaction to something, i think the world today is unnatural to living things!

I agree, I am also a singer and used to be a dancer. I developed this terrible life stopping agoraphobia and can't even think of singing in front of people again. I'm sure other artists must go through this but you never hear about it. I need to get over this.

Don't you guys get "stage fright" anymore?

is agrophobia the same as social anxiety disorder Goldensong? cos i've always thought i had s.a.d but after researching agoraphobia it sounds like their the same thing? or is it different? s.a.d is just the fear of people bcos of the fear of getting judged etc, agrophobia sounds the same to me. Clergy have very high job satisfaction rates. I would probably be working in a church if I were still religious.
