Hello everyone, my name is Gail and I have recently developed anxiety bad enough to send me to the ER and now I'm on meds for it but its not helping much.
I'm feel the anxiety almost constantly and a panic attack seems like it could happen at any minute for no reason at all.
I also have depression and though I'm not suicidal, sometimes I do wish I didn't exist.

One of my worse fear is of dieing and I have myself convinced I have some kind of fatal disease. The nature of the disease changes every few days. Right now its bone cancer.
I've lost my appetite and I'm not sleeping. I'm reaching out to others on here because I have no one in my life I can really talk to about it. I guess I just need a friend and a place to pour my heart out.

Theres a few members in here that have similar issues so we know exacatly how you feel....the good news being that you are now starting on Meds.

It may take some time for the med level to work correctly or you may change meds a few times, but hopefully this will help.

Please drop by often for a chat, it certainly does help and if nothing else, it stops the feeling of being all alone.

Thanks. Yesterday was a really bad day and ofter looking up the side affects of the new meds, I have stopped both. I was having sever reactions to both of them including increased fear, anxiety, agitation and various physical side affects. I wasn't able to eat for 2 days and was awake for nearly 48 hours.
I ended up placing a call to the poison control center late last night to see if I could safely take one of my xanax which I was able to. I got a decent nights sleep for the first time in days.
I went to a new doctor last week and she was the one who put me on all these new meds. I'm hoping she will agree to keep me on the xanax instead, it does what I need and I feel sane today.

I guess its dissapointing the new Meds didnt help......but keep looking because new drugs are found each day and everyone reacts differently, so surely there is something to help you.

Keep doing research on the net, its amazing what can be found that may help
