Newbie from Los Angeles-GAD
Hello!
My name is Dottie, and I am a 32 year old female from Los Angeles who has had Generalized Anxiety Disorder since I was 19. I have had several hospitalizations when the anxiety gets so bad that I can't function. My most recent one was 2 weeks ago, and I am meeting a new therapist and psychiatrist tomorrow. I am working full time as well.
I guess I am here because I'm looking to connect with people who feel like I do that can assure me that I will get through this and come out at the other side of the tunnel, where hope is...

Hi Snooks,

Its a pleasure to meet you. I didn't know how to work this forum so i went overboard by creating new threads - sorry...

What would you like to know? Im not very good at talking about myself. I guess I'll start with im a teenager from England. I have a massive problem with kinemortophobia ( fear of the undead ) and was browsing about it when i stumbled across someone on this forum who had it too. After reading about it I soon learnt that the person linked the creature to a problem. I unfortunately don't see my link and I was hoping for some guidance on how to tackle the phobia. Ever since I can remember I have been petrified by the undead and now with the uprise of tthem in the media and they feature in the latest craze for teens I have no way of dodging any triggers. I've been trying on my own to tackle it , but i am now worse than I have ever been. I would appereicate any help on this forum tremendously and i am sorry if i am repeating a problem that has already occurred.

Middy x

Hello Middy.

Im aware that there are at least 2 other people that visit here with the same phobia and hopefully they will drop in soon and say hello.

Do you remember anything that actually triggered it off? Can you recall an incident or anything like that?
