Hi, My name is Kori and I need help. I have many different phobias but the ones that have started taking over my life are my fears of driving and of road travel, being in a car in general is terrifying but over the last two years i have tried many things which havent worked, even pills for anxiety. I have decided to seek other means of some sort of "cure" for these specific phobias because I am starting to feel that I never should left the safety of my own bedroom.

I am a mother of one son, he is my world but with my phobias I cannot do the best I can as a mother.

Well posting in the forum is certainly a positive course of action Talking about the issue helps and hopefully someone suffering from the same isue will drop by soon.

Do you know exactly when the phobia started and any clues as to what may have triggered it off?

the phobias i have with driving, road travel and cars started after my car accident two years ago. the car rolled 2.5 times and they told me another half turn and we might not have survived. when im in the car turns and the edges of the road scare the daylights out of me. for me the car pulls to the right or at least feels like it is when it really isn't. my fear is out of control and there isnt a thing i can do to stop it from happening.

its not a matter of when i have to fix it within a short amount of time and i've been slowly working on it for two years, my life has suddenly taken the turn for the worse and i need to get to where i can drive so i can find work. but this fear is haunting me, stopping me from living my life and i cannot take control.
