not really a phobia but...
this isnt really a phobia i dont think but what are your opinions please?...
i want to donate my organs, when i die. i think well they arent of use to me are they? but they could help someone else who is alive and needs them. but then i worry that giving them away will stop something like having another life. sounds so silly. but does that make sense? like if my body isnt whole i cant live another life. but then i think thats a bunch of rubbish, we just die. but i dont know. it kind of scares me. i want to do it but im unsure. its more a worry than a phobia though right? sorry! im just scared that if i donate them i will just die but if i dont then i could live again perhaps. but then that sounds so selfish and i could help someone have the life i had and not take 2 lives and them only have 1 perhaps? you know?! i dont know. confusing and stupid eh?! ![]() Chihiro: I can't believe I forgot my name... |

Personally I dont think its a phobia and just a worry. I think you need to sit down and really think about what you want before you make any decisions. Like do you really believe in life after death or is it more important to give someone else a life after yours.

Re: not really a phobia but...
I don't believe in afterlife really but if you really believe that stuff, don't donate your organs when you die and I will so it will make up for you not donating.

Coincidentally, they also believed that you need a whole body to go to the afterlife. Edit: I knew i'd heared Chihiro somewhere before, I got it when I saw your avatar - Spirited Away! Great movie. Re: not really a phobia but...
I don't think it is stupid at all... I guess you just have to trust that in the end you will make the right decision. Or take on my approach: Don't worry about your next life because you aren't there and anyways, do you remember ever living before? Probably not so I doubt what you do in this will have any effect on your next (and yes, I believe in the after life and reincarnation...)
As for me, I am donating organs and being cremated... then spread in the ocean... Can't stand the thought of my cold lifeless body being invaded by worms and just rotting away. and this is just going to be another hour long goodbye and in the end we'll be trying to figure out why we let ourselves get so caught up in this love when it just seems to end in goodbye... Yes, it's original. |

Ancient Egyptian - nah I believe you have to keep the body intact or the spirit will die. |
