Positive elements of phobia
Most people think that phobias are a bad thing but if you dig deep enough, I'm sure you can find one or two examples where a phobia has actually helped you in one manner or another.
In my case I no longer trust new people in my life until they earn it. While this may not truly be considered a phobia, it does represent a drastic change in both attitude and lifestyle for me as it goes against who I used to be. The one good aspect of this is that I no longer find myself getting lured into uncomfortable or morally reprehensible situations. I also haven't been suckered out of my hard earned money in years whereas I had been a few times in my past. Just out of curiosity, can you think of a fear or phobia that has influenced at least one aspect of your life for the positive? Lifesupporters.com: Peer support for a wide range of social issues. RE: Positive elements of phobia
Very interesting question and interesting view point!
I like that. However I am tired and am not able to think of an answer. I will have to think on this and come back. I like the idea of looking at phobias that way. Often we get them for a reason. Slaka ~Knowledge is the enemy of faith~
