I know I should though, because I can see that I won't get anywhere without help. I've been eating like crazy for two weeks now and should have gained at least ...a kilo, preferably more. I haven't gained weight at all though. I weigh myself daily to keep track of my "progress", and my weight goes up and down from one day to the next, which is normal, but if you take the mean value of my weight over this period of time, I'm not really making any progress. Hi Harold, I've heard that men seem to gain weight in their thirties. It may be that you are one of those men. I was very, very thin as a child and teen. I thought and worried that I would never gain weight. Of course, everything changed when I had my second child. Of course, it's different for a man. I guess my point is maybe not too worry about it quite so much and see what happens. JMHO.

RE: Rant about - Miscellaneous things
Have you always been underweight Harold?
If so, then I would agree with Luba - don't worry about it too much and see what happens.

RE: Rant about - Miscellaneous things
Harold, I'm a soon-to-be dietecian (I graduate in 5 months) but I can't really tell you anything! But I strongly advise you to see a dietecian because gaining weight is not that easy, and you shouldn't "eat whatever you want, whenever you want" in order to gain that weight. This way you'll gain weight and a lot of health risks along with it! Instead I recommend you to see a dietecian, and she will most probably tell you what to eat.
One simple tip, if you eat a lot of healthy foods (good fat, high protein foods) and exercise, you might as well build muscle, stay lean & healthy and gain weight all at the same time!

Why doesn't life ever get any easier or better?
