I know i have a problem with people beleiving me, cause i serously am going to have another rant about people not beleiving me.
Like whenever i'm sick, since i was little people acted like i got sick on purpose. I got sick today on a boat and cried cause of the pain. Of it squashing my insides to spew out something, when i had nothing left to spew out. The crew kept asking whats wrong, i said then, "I'm in pain."
"They said i know."
My thought, "Why ask?"
They kept asking me whats wrong, before that and i said, "I'm sick." Repeatedly they asked and repeatedly i answered the same thing. Its like they expected a different answer. angry1 confused1
They wouldn't even move for me when i wanted to see the whales, wouldn't someone think we should move for sick person?! Not saying i was doing that for attention, but i really couldn't move and why would i pretend to be sick on a $80 pp Whale watch?
I sprained my ankle in America and people and American doctors and nurses who made me wait hours. Acted i had done it for attention, because i listened to people on my tours. Who treated another girl with a sprained ankle like it was for real actually told me, "Well you obvously did it on purpose. Do get attention, thats why we don't give you attention!'
So because i listened to them tell me to walk on it, i did. My foot hasn't fully healed and i need to see a chiropractor.
Plus why would i want to pretend to be hurt on a thousands of dollars trip to America, which dreamnt about since i was a kid?!
Its always happened to me, i got sick on 16th birthday! They acted like i put my hands down my throat or took a pill. Even though i spewed at first right in front of them!
My dad and Doctors thought i pretended a green stick arm when i was a kid, even though there was an x-ray that said i hadn't! Or then their exuse was you broke part of your arm on purpose? Why would i do that when it was so painful and to begin with? My dad wouldn't take me to Doctor after i had it happen, so i pretended to hurt other arm so he would take me to the Doctor! That does not mean i pretended all of it!
Lots of times in year four and year five i got the bug, people Acted as though i was putting it on or making myself sick. So it took ages for them do anything and for me. Like sometimes dad not doing anything, Just like taking me home or leaving me there or at least trying to leave me there.
One time i was sick in year five with mum and she put in front of me loads of junk food. I took one jaffer and ate it and spewed up!
She asked, "Whats the problem? You don't want it?!"
I looked at her like what?!
Then said, "Mum are you kidding me?! I'm sick!"
She just said, " No your not you fine." Like she said even today. :surprised:: angry1
In year seven i slipped and cut myself on the gin, it took ages to get someone to get dad and get him there, to go the hospital. Even at the hospital it took a while for the doctor to see me, then they acted like i had done it on purpose. :surprised:: angry1
I had seven stitches on my gin!
I don't understand? I guess people may think peoples opinoins don't matter, but i don't get why it keeps happening?
If even in the past when i cut myself or tried to kill myself i didn't even do that for attention, though many don't know about that and i hadn't tried before i was tweleve, so it doesn't really explain it?! People just mention that to ...i don't know? And i'm not writing this to get attention, but because i don't understand why people have this attitude towards me when i get sick or get hurt? confused1 angry1

My family is very much like this. They act like everything that I do wrong in my life/every accident, is a plee for attention. Which it is not!

Well, sometimes when someone is hurt/sick, people don't know what to do or say. So they end up repeadedly asking if the victom is ok.
Maybe the people didn't know what to do? They were probably trying to help but didn't really know how to go about it.

When I told my Mother that I was suicidal, she acted like it was a plee for attention. So, I understand your pain.
It's hard when you're going through something that you want help with and people seem to act like it's just a game that you're playing.

No one here thinks this is a way of getting attention.
It's a rant; you are trying to get rid of your anger by expressing it here.

I don't really understand why people act like this either! All I can say is that people jump to conclusions.

I guess i just worry thats what people may think if i write things about myself, because thats what people have said in the past when i tried to get things off my chest. Like my friend or family or even try to explain things to them.

Well, there's nothing wrong with venting; it's much better than bottling emotions up!

I am living proof that bottling emotions up is not a good thing... as is my left arm.

I liked these some of these sound like my Dad with my phobia. His response is
"Just get over it !"
How I wish and pray everyday that I will get over it but right now it's not happening.

I hope you can get something sorted out though Labyssum. I know you shouldnt have to but can you not borrow a portable electric heater of anyone in the meantime?

Why oh why cant they just leave the heating alone and stop turning it down??? Its minus 15 outside and for some reason the heating has been turned down in the building

Awwww...My heating in my apartment wasn't working either, for the longest time. Now its too bloody hot. :roll:
