Why do I seem to have this need to complicate things?005_ssleepy

I'd be a dog, a monkey or a bear, or anything but that vain animal, who is so proud of being rational.

Complicate what exactly? 005_sconfused

I find Facebook to be utterly depressing - seeing profiles of people that I know/ used to know, what they're getting up to... Sad Sad

I know.005_ssleepy

Did you end up setting up a fake account to keep in touch with your brother?

Still thinking about it.

However, if only spending literally a few minutes on it the other night was enough to make me feel utterly depressed, I think I may be inclined to pass on it for the time being.

Yeah, you'd probably do best to give it a pass. It's impossible to resist lurking around old friends' profiles. And that never ends well.Blob5

There's this guy at the place where I do my voluntary work that manages to achieve the impossible - actually make me look chatty! Laughing6

As a condition of claiming unemployment benefit, today I had to attend the private company which is being paid by the government to help me find a job.

Well you know what they ended up saying to me? My efforts aren't currently good enough and that I need to do more!

Though they know about my social anxiety, they don't seem to give a stuff what job I get, just as long as I get a job, so that they can claim their 'bonus' from the government.

This unemployment scheme is supposed to be tailor made, where they help me find the right jobs for me. It's anything but, and from now on, I'm going to be forced into applying for customer service jobs.

Dog owners who don't clean up after their pets. 005_smad

It only used to be a couple of streets in my local area, but these days, dog poo seems to be on every pavement in every street.

What is wrong with people?! It only takes a few seconds. Dontknow
