Rant about - Relationships
Want to rant about relationships - this is the place to do it.
Why do dogs bark? They are not barking, they are talking in dog. Obviously you don't understand the language. |

Re: Rant about - Relationships
I don't think my idea of a relationship isn't the same as most. sconfused I don't even think I'm capable of ever being in a relationship.

Re: Rant about - Relationships
I'm starting to get sick of one of my best friends - that can't be good.
I know I need to stop being so sensitive, but she seems to pick on me more than she does anyone else because I try to tell her and my other friends about my emet and SA, etc. She always says I'm paranoid when I try to explain SA (okay, so I am paranoid, but she says it in this high-pitched voice, "ooooh, paranoid, Sarah, you're so paranooooid...") Another friend is having her birthday in January and I'm trying to get people to send me their photos and messages now because I'm going to make a scrapbook as a gift, and this friend replied to my email by saying "LOL I can guess the future" and now won't tell me what the problem is. I thought I was making a nice gesture. I've done this for everyone else's birthday and they've all been really pleased with it. (In fact, the only person that didn't gush and make a fuss, that only said "aw, thanks" and didn't spend much time looking at it, was her.) She's also the one that I mentioned in my other rant - the one that takes pictures of me when I'm not looking and then posts them on the Net. She's always done this to me and I went through a really low period brought about mainly by her about two years ago, but told myself to grow up and got over it, but now she's starting to get to me again. smad smad smad |

Reading between the lines you are probably more popular than you realise. What do you think? I apologise if this is out of order, but to me your 'best friend' sounds like a jealous little b***h and a bully to boot. For what it is worth, I would ignore her comments and carry on making your scrap book, I am sure your other friends appreciate them and it would be unfar to leave the next girl out just because someone else is playing childish mind games. Haha, thanks, Shy guy, I suppose I just have to learn to ignore her. Anyway, it's not like she's never nice to me, just...not very often.

Re: Rant about - Relationships
GO AWAY, MR. YOU-KNOW-WHO-YOU-ARE; I DON'T LIKE YOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!
Ahem. [Braces self for teasing and in-jokes amongst other users. ] Krusty the Klown: Is this your girlfriend, Ralph? Ralph Wiggum: Yes, she is. I love Lisa Simpson, and when I grow up I'm going to marry her. Lisa: [erupting] Noooooooooooooooooooooooo! Now you listen to me! I don't like you, I never liked you, and the only reason I gave you that stupid valentine is because nobody else would! Lisa: What do you say to a boy to let him know you're not interested? Marge Simpson: Well, honey, I... Homer: Let me handle this, Marge. I've heard them all: "I like you as a friend," "I think we should see other people," "I no speak English"... Lisa: I get the idea. Homer: "I'm married to the sea," "I don't want to kill you but I will"... Marge Simpson: Honey! Lisa, I'd tell this boy that you're very flattered, but you're just not ready for this kind of thing. Lisa: Thanks, Mom. Homer: And if that doesn't work, six simple words: "I'm not gay, but I'll learn." |

Re: Rant about - Relationships
ok, it has have a rant so maybe i should
i went out with a guy for 2 and a hlaf years and things seemed really great, then he cheated on me and i split up with him. I went out with another guy who was commitment phobic, and i decided from there on in guys werent gonna happen till i was sorted and in uni doing well. i went to cambridge on a college course and found a really cute guy, we started talking and got on really well, so on the last day we decided to get together, and see how things went even though we lived on the other side of the country. things were really great till someone came back into my life and tried to screw up the world, i did a bolt and went to him as he had promised if there was ever an issue i could. i gave him what he wanted and it all back fired. although he promised that if i did ever go to him if things went wrong then hed be there, he wasnt and he split up with me. he didnt seem to realise he was the only one making changes, but that was all that mattered. now we are friends and it kills me cos it was like nothing ever happened, even though i still like him alot. Rant over, I now plan to not get involoved in serious relationships till someone proves i dont have easy to use written on my back, unlikely to happen, so no guys for me. time for things to get sorted, may be if i do guys will stop finding me so repulsive |

RE: Rant about - Relationships
Urgh.
Can't stand my ex. He has blown me off like.... 6 times in total now since we broke up for money exchanges. (last bills/credits coming in.) Apparently I just found out a few of those times was because he gave the money to a friend of ours and he didn't have it, yet instead of telling me that he kept making plans then blowing me off. Now I OWE him money, and he is being ridiculous about it. We made plans for like 3 days away, then the following day I said oh I'm sorry I can't that day because I forgot it was memorial day and they changed my work schedule around for the holiday. Then I did not hear from him at all for three days. Then he leaves me a voice mail asking if we can meet in the morning. That I got yesterday. I have not returned his call yet. I will. Eventually. But apparently he drove his car into a lake. The story is, he was lost at night, tired and ended up on a boat launch instead of a road and ended up in a lake. I've heard he was sober (...?). Then since his phone was damaged he couldn't call the cops, so the story is he went right to the cop shop to tell them about it, yet they gave him a ticket for leaving the accident. (hmmm...? fishy....). Who knows the WHOLE story. But I would not wish this on anyone, but its still seriously hysterical. Also, I doubt that he was sober, so if he wasn't then GOOD. Thats what you get for being dumb and driving under the influence of anything. Maybe he would learn his lesson. (doubt it, but at least it wasn't another car.) So I plan on blowing him off a bit. I'll answer if he calls again, and I feel like it and I'm not busy. But its just annoying. I would understand if he didn't have a phone for three days (from being in the water...) But I know for a fact he was talking to my sorta friend. So if he is able to talk to her and blow up her phone, he could of sent a text. ~Knowledge is the enemy of faith~
