Re: Rant about - school and school work.
God bless the rant room. Without it I would surely go mad. scool
Today's rant, this book is getting on my nerves! scry It doesn't explain things, it just describes them really quickly and then jumps on to something new. Like the so called "gunpowder plot", it basically says that a group of Catholics tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament with King Charles inside. It goes on to describe that Guy Fawkes was caught in the cellar. Well that's all fine ...but why did they try to blow up Parliament and the king? I mean, I can imagine a few reasons, but wouldn't it be a good idea to specify a bit of the background? What am I supposed to do with this information if they just give it to me like this? If it was just this one thing, I wouldn't mind. But the author does it all the time, he says something that doesn't seem relevant to ...well anything, and then he jumps on to something new. I'm so not doing well on this exam. confused1 I'd be a dog, a monkey or a bear, or anything but that vain animal, who is so proud of being rational.
