RE: relaxi-taxi!
Possibly my favourite Enya track:
Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind. Dr Seuss Courage does not always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, 'I will try again tomorrow'. Mary Anne Radacher |

RE: relaxi-taxi!
^You just made me get one of her albums. I've heard a few of her songs before, and like them, but I've never really listened to an entire album. That song is beautiful.
![]() Hmm I can't remember if I've posted this song or not, so this might be a double post but oh well. I'd be a dog, a monkey or a bear, or anything but that vain animal, who is so proud of being rational.

RE: relaxi-taxi!
Hmm, something is missing in this thread. Let me think... oh right! Dustin O'halloran's missing! Can't have a thread about relaxing music without him.
![]() The entire album which these songs were taken from is amazing.

Come on Globe, we can't let this thread die. It's my favourite! Long live the relaxi taxi thread!
I just recently found out about this band ...urh, well, "musical collective" according to wikipedia: I'd be a dog, a monkey or a bear, or anything but that vain animal, who is so proud of being rational.

^
![]() And here goes some Mike Oldfield. After having read "The Songs of Distant Earth" I found out that Oldfield had made an album inspired by the book, and I just had to hear it. Since then I've been hooked to Oldfield's music. I had listened to Tubular Bells before, but not really to any of his other albums. They're great though. Here a song from Songs of Distant Earth: I'd be a dog, a monkey or a bear, or anything but that vain animal, who is so proud of being rational.

RE: relaxi-taxi!
One small consolation of having to use my PC's rescue disc (where I ended up losing a lot of accumulated stuff), was that I was reminded of how good the Windows XP welcome music is:
Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind. Dr Seuss Courage does not always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, 'I will try again tomorrow'. Mary Anne Radacher |

RE: relaxi-taxi!
I still use XP on my netbook, but I've never heard that music before. My computer is so unwelcoming.
![]() That is a nice song. ![]() I'm still addicted to Oldfield. So here's some more Oldfield! ![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wtEC_O-ljm8 ...the video tag thingy doesn't seem to work for me. Nor does any other tag. I can't even quote! Oh the horror.
I'd be a dog, a monkey or a bear, or anything but that vain animal, who is so proud of being rational.

^Point taken. We need some Christmas music in here!
