Sunburn
I went to the local racetrack yesterday and managed to get one of the worst sunburns I've had in a long time. I can't recall ever getting such a severe sunburn this early in the year where I live, but it's terrible. I can barely move my arms, my neck is burnt, and my whole face is burnt. I can barely talk, because the area around my lips is burnt too, it's horrible.

Do you guys get sunburns, or do you tan? I usually get burned, then it sort of turns into a tan, except in cases like this where I get REALLY badly burnt. How about you guys?

Re: Sunburn
You managed to get that burned when it just is 70F?
That sucks though, I especially hate it at night when you're lying in bed and nothing distracts you from the pain, even the sheets hurt like hell don't they?

As a kid I hardly ever got burned, I could run around in the sun for hours and would just get tanned. My parents said I had "Spanish skin". Now...I think my skin is a bit more sensitive since I do get burnt more easily.

I'd be a dog, a monkey or a bear, or anything but that vain animal, who is so proud of being rational.

Yeah, that was my initial thought. I was like "It wasn't that warm, and it's April. I should be fine. Boy was I wrong.

It doesn't hurt much anymore, and it's beginning to fade now. My face is still red though, and some of my arms. I couldn't sleep under my blanket, bend my elbows, or even touch my nose slightly without cringing in pain. It was terrible.
