Wonders of the Universe by Brian Cox & Andrew Cohen.

A truly excellent TV series companion book. 005_shappy

I've been seeing that Brian Cox guy everywhere recently! He seems to appear in every single documentary that's made.Scared

I'm reading Hemingway's "For Whom the Bell Tolls".Blob5

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo from the Millenium Series. I suppose everyone has already read it, I was a little slow getting onto it and now the movie is coming out.

I'm finding it really hard to pronounce the Swedish names in my head as I read.

^As a Swede, I'm ashamed to admit it, but I've yet to read anything from the Millenium Series.005_sconfused The books just don't appeal to me very much. Not a big fan of the movies either (the Swedish ones that is, I've yet to watch the remake).

I'm currently reading The Gods Themselves by Isaac Asimov.Blob5

A Christmas Carol by Dickens.Cool
I thought I'd make it into a little tradition, reading it every Christmas. It's the first time I read it.Blob5

Good idea; I should look for a copy, too!

My "War and Peace" reading has gone somewhat on the backburner, hope to read the rest of it in the New Year.

Was the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo any good? I have not read them, and honestly don't know much about them. I am looking for some new reads. Thinking of picking up The Hunger Games books. Saw the movie and liked it. Never saw the Dragon Tattoo movie that I think was recently made however. I really like series' things as well since they have even more character building-true when it comes to books and movies, and even tv shows I like the shows with more of a story instead of being able to jump in at any episode. So even better if its a series. But any recommendation would be appreciated if someone can offer any. Smile
