Anyone played Terraria? It's oddly addictive.
I'd be a dog, a monkey or a bear, or anything but that vain animal, who is so proud of being rational.

RE: What pc or console game are you playing now?
Three years ago I bought a PSP. I used it for about a month, and then I got bored with it and put it away.
![]() Yesterday it saw daylight for the first time in those three years. I got the sudden impulse to play it again. Spent the entire day yesterday playing Patapon 2! Pon pon pata pon! Pon pon pata pon! Pata pata pata pon! I can't get those chants out of my head! Spent all night playing them over and over again in my mind.
I'd be a dog, a monkey or a bear, or anything but that vain animal, who is so proud of being rational.

RE: What pc or console game are you playing now?
Two very addictive time management games - Burger Shop 2 and Burger Bustle.
Both can be very frustrating, and unsurprisingly, both can end up making me crave for burgers/ fast food (as unhealthy this type of food is! ). Perhaps I ought to invent my own time management game with a nice healthy message - Salad Shop, Muesli Munch Madness!

I've been giving Spore a try. It's not really as interesting as I thought it would be. It kind of feels like a collection of mini games, and I've played them all in one form or another before. The evolutionary aspects of the game are a little disappointing too. I was expecting something else.

For anyone who enjoys puzzle games, I just have to recommend SpaceChem. It's one of the hardest games I've played in some time, but that also makes it all the more rewarding when you finally manage to beat a level. It makes you feel like a little genius.
![]() ...it also makes you feel like a fool when you get stuck on one of the first levels after training. That's what motivates you to keep playing. No game shall make me feel foolish! I'll beat it.

The Spiderwick Chronicles (which is actually also the last movie which I saw
).Considering it's a movie tie-in game, it's surprisingly good.

Have just started playing Persona 4, and so far, I'm very impressed.

I haven't played any pc/console games for a while, but I see Guild Wars 2 has had a release date announced! Yay! I really enjoyed playing Guild Wars and I'm definitely looking forward to this.

RE: What pc or console game are you playing now?
Are you sure you wouldn't be able to run the game though Globe? I play on my mum's laptop, which is far from being a state of the art machine.
Most new games won't run on it, so I was quite surprised to see that I could play Skyrim. It runs real smoothly on high graphics too. Just as smoothly as Oblivion really. So maybe you could give it a try, you might be surprised.![]() As for the game, it's just as addicting and amazing as I remember Oblivion being. The landscape is more varied though, and it looks just smashing. I found the landscape in Oblivion a little disappointing. I remember playing Morrowind and being completely taken aback by the scenery. That kind of scenery was completely new to me when it came to games, and it was really the most enjoyable part of the game experience. I could run around exploring the landscaping and the views for hours, not even doing any particular quest. I didn't really feel that as strongly with Oblivion, but I do get the feeling with Skyrim. So the game is worth playing just for that. The novelty of the gameplay itself quickly fades though, and the game starts to feel a little monotonous. I can't say I find most quest too interesting either, especially not the main quest. And the game feels a little too easy for my liking. If it wasn't for the game looking so good I don't think I'd play it for more than a few hours. I guess that's the case with all the Elder Scrolls games though.![]() As for the kind of character I'm playing, I focus on sneaking/archery, with one handed combat (swords) as my secondary skill. Not so much on magic. I've never really been much of a mage in any of these games. Oh and I'm a Nord. And proud! What kind of character did you play as in Oblivion?

I can never decide whether I want to be a fighter or a mage in RPGs, so I tend to go for classes which give me the best of both worlds e.g. cleric type classes. Hack, slash and blast I suppose you could say.

RE: What pc or console game are you playing now?
Dragged myself into the modern age by buying myself a Playstation 3 at the start of the year.
On it I'm currently playing two games - Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4, which is great fun, and, Skyrim! ![]() In Skyrim, I've quickly learnt that having so much choice isn't necessarily a good thing for me - I'm getting really bogged down designing my character - from the colour of his hair to height of his nose! I just can't seem to make up my mind.
